Every scheduled visit follows a structured rotational schedule rather than a fixed checklist — tasks rotate on the cadence each system actually needs, so nothing quietly slips. The family receives an email summary after each visit describing what was checked, what was completed, and anything we recommend following up on. And because we're a local, privately owned, owner-operated company, the same people who plan your schedule are involved in every visit.

Detectors are the quiet lifeline of a home, and they fail silently. On every scheduled visit we press the test button on each smoke and carbon monoxide detector, confirm the alarm sounds clearly, and replace weak or missing batteries on the spot. If a detector is past its service life or keeps failing, we flag it in the visit summary so the family can replace it with confidence instead of discovering the gap during an emergency.

HVAC filter changes

Water softener pellet refills

When the brine tank runs dry, hard water returns quietly: scale builds up in pipes and appliances, fixtures spot, and skin irritation worsens. We check the salt level in the tank on every visit, refill pellets before the system runs out, and keep the brine tank clean and bridging-free so the softener does its job without anyone in the family having to think about it.

Dishwasher filter cleaning

Dishwasher filters trap food debris and grease, and when they clog the machine drains poorly, smells, and stops cleaning properly. We remove and rinse the filter, clear the sump area, and run a short check cycle. The result is a dishwasher that stays sanitary and keeps working — one less appliance a senior has to hand-wash around.

Light bulb replacement

Reaching a burned-out bulb on a ladder is exactly the kind of task that sends seniors to the emergency room. We replace burned-out bulbs throughout the home — including stairwells, hallways, porches, and closets — using the right brightness and color temperature for aging eyes, and we note fixtures that flicker or fail repeatedly so an electrical issue isn't mistaken for a bad bulb.
